Everything in the natural world, though stunningly complex, seems to come together into a harmonious whole. Bees and flowers for example, are such different life forms yet they depend on each other. However, when we look at human society it is composed of so called intelligent life which seems bent on destroying itself. It’s a puzzle. To express this quandary in my own way I created the Flight of the Nightbird. It has a little poem that goes with it like this: The Nightbird shimmers in the moonlit sky, Taking wing to dart and fly Close to the earth and way up high. Seeing earth’s plight and asking, “Why?”
